Target Audience For Magazine Design

The magazine i am going to produce will be a school magazine. Each magazine has a wide variety of audiences that they want to attract but every magazine has a niche audience (a mainstream audience), for example you have some strict niche audiences such as Golf World Magazine which would strictly only attract a specific type of audience, Golfers. But you have the likes of FHM which it's main audience would be middle-aged men, a wide perspective audience, therefore it would appeal to more than just one stereotype.

My school magazine is going to be designed to attract the following:

• School Pupils and Teachers
• Parents and Guardians of pupils
• General Public outside of the school

To do this im going to have to be creative in a sense to attract all audience types, but my niche audience will be focussed on the Parents and Guardians of pupils. This wil require my magazine front cover to be smart and sophisticated in appearence, yet have something to attract my other audiences.
